Junior Media Buyer
This is the fastest path to real ownership at Strat Media. You'll work alongside experienced buyers managing seven-figure monthly budgets across Meta, TikTok, Google, and native platforms. From day one you'll touch live campaigns with real spend and real consequences. Top performers in this role move into managing six-figure monthly budgets within their first year. What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities in this role.
- Help launch and manage paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, and native platforms with real daily budgets
- Monitor spend pacing, delivery, and performance metrics across every active campaign
- Optimize bids, targeting, and creative rotation based on what the data is actually saying
- Pull campaign reports and translate raw numbers into clear takeaways for internal review
- Stay on top of platform updates, policy changes, and algorithm shifts before they affect performance
- Test new audiences, creatives, and placements to find combinations worth scaling
- Brief the creative team on what's working and what to build next, backed by performance data
- Catch anomalies early (spend spikes, conversion drops, fraud signals) and escalate before they get expensive
What We're Looking For
The skills and experience we consider essential.
- 0-2 years in media buying, paid advertising, or digital marketing (personal projects and side hustles count)
- You know what CPM, CPC, CPA, and ROAS stand for and can explain why each one matters in context
- Analytical by default. You open a spreadsheet and start looking for patterns, not for the close button
- Hungry to learn and comfortable being the least experienced person in the room for a while
- Detail-oriented enough to manage multiple live campaigns without mixing up ad sets or burning budget
- Self-starter. You notice things that need doing and do them without being assigned
- Comfortable with fast iteration. You'll launch, learn, and relaunch constantly
Nice to Have
Bonus points — not required, but they'll help you hit the ground running.
- Hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads, even on small budgets
- Understanding of tracking infrastructure: pixels, postbacks, UTM parameters, server-side events
- Genuine interest in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or lead generation
- Experience with any data visualization tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, even well-built spreadsheets)
- Basic grasp of landing page optimization and why page speed matters as much as ad creative
